The Georgia Pie strain is Seed Junky's peach-forward dessert hybrid, and it is one of the few cultivars whose flavour name is not marketing — in aggregate consumer flavour data, peach and apricot score roughly an order of magnitude higher than every other note. It is also carrying a CBD figure that has been repeated across the internet for years and does not survive contact with an actual lab report. It sits at the sweet end of our THCA flower collection.

One grandparent worth pinning down

Gelatti is sometimes described as OG Biscotti crossed with GSC, and sometimes as Gelato crossed with Biscotti. The better-supported version — backed by the structured genealogy on the main lineage database and by two independent guides — is Gelato × Biscotti. Worth noting that Gelatti itself was never sold as seed or clone, which is part of why Georgia Pie is hard to source authentically.

The CBD number that is simply wrong

You will repeatedly see Georgia Pie listed at 1–3% CBD, sometimes with a note about how unusually high that is for a THC-rich strain. It is not unusually high — it is unsupported. Actual lab results published on retail listings put CBD at 0.05% to 0.22%, and one of the two largest strain databases records it as zero. The 1–3% figure appears to have propagated from a couple of early pages without a source behind it, and every page since has copied it. If you are choosing this strain for a CBD contribution, choose something else.

Is Georgia Pie Top Shelf? An Honest Answer

Yes, and unusually for these guides, without much argument.

Two things separate Georgia Pie from most hyped dessert hybrids. First, the flavour is real and it is specific — the peach and apricot signal in aggregate consumer data is one of the cleanest of any strain, meaning people are tasting the same thing rather than repeating the marketing. Second, and more usefully, the potency is consistent. Where most modern hype strains show a ten- or fifteen-point spread between batches, Georgia Pie's observed retail lab results sit in a narrow 25.5% to 29.34% band. That is a well-stabilised cut behaving predictably, which is exactly what you are paying a premium for and rarely get.

The honest verdict: genuinely top shelf, and one of the few where the batch you buy is likely to resemble the batch someone reviewed. The real problem is not quality — it is availability. Seed Junky and Cookies guard the genetics closely and it was never released as feminized seed, so a lot of what is sold as Georgia Pie is not from the original stock.

Georgia Pie Strain Terpene Profile

Caryophyllene-dominant with limonene second and humulene third — and unlike most strains in this encyclopedia, there is actual aggregate measurement behind that ranking rather than repetition.

The usual caveat still applies to percentages: no lab publishes verified terpene percentages for Georgia Pie. The one source giving numeric ranges cites no lab. The ordering below is well supported; any exact percentage you see quoted for this strain is not.

Worth noting that myrcene sits near the bottom here, which is unusual for a strain that reads as relaxing. The relaxation is coming from the caryophyllene-and-linalool side rather than from myrcene sedation, which is a plausible explanation for why it stays clear-headed. For the underlying research, LaVigne and colleagues' paper Cannabis sativa terpenes are cannabimimetic and selectively enhance cannabinoid activity in Scientific Reports is the strongest peer-reviewed reference available.

Appearance

Descriptions split between small tight popcorn nugs and large chunky flowers, which is a grower difference rather than a disagreement about the plant. What is consistent: olive to forest green with clear purple streaking, thin amber-orange pistils, tightly stacked calyxes with very little leaf, and a trichome layer heavy enough that some batches look almost white. The purple tendency is strong — this cut colours up readily, which is a large part of its shelf appeal.

The plant itself stays short indoors, around 80cm, with strong branching and thin-fingered dark leaves.

Aroma and Flavor

This is the strain's whole case, and it delivers.

The jar is warm peach cobbler — sweet ripe stone fruit over buttery pastry dough, with brown sugar and a little baking spice behind it. Underneath sits a creamy gas base and the cool mint-and-earth signature that Kush Mints contributes to everything it touches.

On the inhale it is peach and pastry, smooth and clearly sweet. The exhale turns to gas and earthy mint with a peppery finish, and the stone fruit lingers with a caramelised-sugar edge. A minority of sources describe it as cherry-forward rather than peach-forward; aggregate consumer data does not support that, and peach outscores everything else by a wide margin.

Fast up front, grounded in the back, and notably not sedating for an indica-leaning hybrid.

• Quick cerebral lift: Onset is commonly reported within five to ten minutes — euphoric, creative, a little more social and motivated than you would expect.
• Focused at low doses: Several sources report single-task focus before the body half arrives.

• Tingly: A consistent physical fizz, ranked second in aggregate effect data.
• Aroused: Ranked unusually high in crowd data, as it is for several strains in this family.

Duration runs two to three hours from flower. The useful nuance: sources disagree about whether it is a sleep strain. Grower-focused write-ups say explicitly that it is not — no couch-lock, no heavy sedation. Consumer databases list sleepiness at higher doses. Both are right; it is dose-dependent, and at a moderate dose it stays functional.

Reported side effects are dry mouth — by far the most common — then dry eyes, transient dizziness, and occasional anxiety if you escalate quickly. One source additionally reports headaches. Aggregate crowd data scores all of these as uncharacteristic, which suggests they are dose effects rather than traits.

Growing Georgia Pie

Difficulty ratings genuinely contradict each other — some call it beginner-friendly, one calls it intermediate-to-experienced and explicitly not for beginners. The disagreement is probably about environment rather than the plant.

Flowering runs eight to ten weeks, most commonly eight to nine indoors, with outdoor harvest around mid-October. Yields of roughly 500 g/m² indoors and about 500g per plant outdoors are reported consistently by two independent sources. The plant stays short — around 80cm indoors — with sturdy branching and moderate node spacing, and responds well to topping, low-stress training and a screen.

The one thing everyone agrees on is humidity. These flowers are dense and they trap moisture, so 40–50% relative humidity through flower with strong airflow is not optional. Backing nitrogen off in the final couple of weeks is reported to help trichome and terpene development, and harvest timing genuinely changes the effect — mostly cloudy trichomes give the energetic version, mostly amber gives the sedating one.

Note that authentic stock is hard to come by. Georgia Pie was never released as feminized seed, and the seed sold under the name by various vendors is not Seed Junky's.

• Ignore any CBD claim above 0.5%. If a listing tells you Georgia Pie carries 1–3% CBD, it copied that from another page rather than from its own COA.
