The origin story — and the name

In a Cannabis Now interview, Holck explained that during the Strawberry Diesel hype of the mid-2000s he got in on a drop and crossed it with that Cold Creek Kush OG cut. The results were first called Strawberry Kush #1, #3 and #5. The new name came from a friend at a String Cheese Incident show who kept calling Holck "Bruce Banner" while hunting for "that dank Strawberry Kush" — and it doubled as a pun, Holck to Hulk.
