- SpeakeasyDiesel Hemp Speakeasy Speakeasy bars came into prominence in the 1920s as a creative way to circumvent the law during prohibition of alcohol in the United States. Customers were told to “speak easy” as in quietly, so that police officers couldn’t hear them if passing by while trying to locate these secret bars. These “underground” establishments were usually invite only, or found by word of mouth, and usually required a sort of password to gain entry. Periodically we will offer discounts on certain products, and just like a speakeasy, a password will be required to gain access to the private sale discounts.
