Appearance: Cone-shaped buds with olive green flowers, woven with bright, neat, curled up orange hairs. NYC Diesel is a vibrant and pretty strain. Some phenotypes bring out hues of purple and blue.

Aroma and Taste: a distinctive aroma of lime and red grapefruit in particular which is this strain’s trademark. Chemical notes and the aftertaste put the “diesel” in NYC.

Trivia: One of the most decorated strains out there, NYC Diesel has 9 Cannabis Cup awards, 3 of which are for 1^st place in the High Times Sativa Cup (in 2001, 2003, and 2004), and two 1^st places in the IC 420 Growers Cup (in 2008 and 2014). Legend has it that Soma Seeds were given the seeds for NYC Diesel by a friend in the Big Apple who proclaimed it the best he ever had and vouched with his foot-long dreadlocks for it. 

Recreational Effects
